Cessna
Pilots Association Expands Tech Staff with Addition of Mike
Wilson
Cessna
Pilots Association Executive Director John Frank has
expanded CPA’s tech staff by naming Mike Wilson as a CPA
Technical Rep.
Wilson comes to CPA with an extensive background of
maintenance of Cessna aircraft. Most recently Mike has been
Director of Maintenance and Chief Inspector for a
Part 135 operation and flight school operating a fleet of
Cessna aircraft.
“Mike is an ideal addition to our tech staff and brings
years of hands-on, real-world experience in service to our
members and their aircraft,” says John Frank.
Wilson has Inspection Authorization and is a Commercial,
Multi-engine pilot as well as a Commercial helicopter pilot.
He is a volunteer United States Coast Guard Auxiliary
Aircraft Facility Inspector at Airstation San Francisco.
With the addition of Wilson to its technical staff, CPA will
now offer pre-purchase inspection on all models of Cessna
aircraft; CPA’s specialized flight control and aircraft
rigging on all models of Cessna aircraft; dynamic engine and
propeller balancing; and ultrasonic leak detection which is
great for finding leaking door seals and exhaust entry
points. All these services are now offered to members at the
Association’s Educational and Technical Center at Santa
Maria, Calif. (SMX). To schedule any of these services
contact Wilson at 805/934-0493 or Mike.wilson@cessna.org.
In addition Wilson will be an instructor at CPA’s
world-renowned Systems and Procedures Seminars on Cessna
aircraft. Courses are open to members and non-members.
For more information on the courses go to
www.cessna.org or telephone 805/934-0493.
