Your Instructors-
 John
Frank
is the founder and Executive Director of the Cessna Pilots
Association. John is a 14,000-hour ATP-rated pilot and an
A&P mechanic with Inspection Authorization, and is a
widely-recognized expert on single-engine Cessna aircraft.
John flew helicopters in Vietnam and fixed-wing in Berlin
for the U.S. Army, was a test pilot for Beech Aircraft,
and headed up the American Bonanza Society before founding
CPA in 1984. John lives in Santa Maria, California, with
his wife Kris, and spends his after-hours time doting on
two teenage sons, John III and Steven. He also owns and
maintains a T210.
 Tom
Carr joined the CPA Tech Staff in July, 1997, coming from
Pontiac, Michigan where he was an A&P mechanic at the
Oakland Pontiac Airport for 22 years. Since receiving his
A& P license in 1973, he's been engaged in the
maintenance, modification, and repair of general aviation
aircraft. He received an IA endorsement in 1976, and a
private pilot's certificate in 1981. He has a vast amount
of experience and knowledge of all Cessna aircraft. Tom
also owns and maintains a Cessna 150.
Paul New
joined CPA as a Contributing Technical Representative in
April of 2007. Paul owns and operates Tennessee Aircraft
Services in Jackson, Tennessee. His company specializes
in major structural repair of Cessna singles and twins
or as New describes it "repairs from hangar rash to belly
landings". Paul soloed the day after his sixteenth
birthday, completed his private pilots certificate when
he was seventeen, and added his multi-engine rating that
same year. He earned an Associates Degree in Applied
Science Avionics Technology from Southern Illinois
University. He is an A&P, and an IA as well. Paul was
named Aircraft Maintenance Technician of the year (AMT)
for 2007. Paul also owns and flies a Cessna 152.

Mike
Wilson joined the
CPA Staff in April, 2007, coming from Petaluma CA where
he was director of maintenance for a flight school and a
part 135 operator for 9 years. Mike grew up in Santa
Maria. At 13 years old he spent most of time working at
the airport received his private pilot
certificate
in 1990. Mike now holds his multi and helicopter
commercial certificate. Mike received his A&P license
in 1999 and his IA in 2003.
